Description

See the opening in the foreground vegetation? That's for you to step in and enjoy the coolness of the shade and the warmth of the water. :-)

Rendered in Vue, as usual. Minor post-work in PS, just some minor corrections and some glow here and there.

It's been ages since my last tropical island. I really like to make islands, with the sand and water and vegetation. Have to do more. :)

How skillful to make three very different backgrounds from a very similar foreground. Just wriggling my toes in the warm sand at the moment admiring the view. This version is distinctly Egyptian themed with the ruined obelisk in the foreground and the dhow serenely floating by. The city is superbly 'heat hazed' and the floating pyramid capstone adds that touch of wonderment. I'm very tempted to take a dip in the beautifully presented water but I fear the presence of crocodiles. Shadow to sunlight effect is brilliant and I can feel how much cooler the sand is in the shade of the palms. Disregard the rating stars, 5 across the board from me.
