Life is made of circles...

This image was made in Vue, with a little help from Poser for the figure. Rendered in Vue, very little postwork (basically some levels correction).

Nice Idea, nice picture. Only one point. The clouds in such a close way to the ocean looks like unrealistic. Effect, looking to this picture, your subconscious mind speaking to you with a sneaking suspicion of something is not right.

Thanks.
Realism is not a concern for me. Normally, in all my pictures, realism is not a concern, it's just a consequence of the way I work.
For me, beauty is my main priority (even if that means less realism, I don't care). My second priority is imagination (even if that means less realism also). And then, in third place, comes realism. If I must sacrifice realism to obtain beauty and imagination, I will. :)

Ill agree to that statement, its all about the concept- we basically live in "reality" let imagination have its chance too. but the concept is awesome though.

Ok, I understand. The artistic freedom is a big point of the representation. Before this picture I looked at your Vue-Landscape. So I thought realism was also the target too.

Realism is also a target, but a secondary one, as I said before, and only insofar as it helps to convey the main messsage. My main usage of realism is to help convey the concepts I want. An imaginary world or concept becomes stronger if it's conveyed by a realistic environment because in the mind of the viewer the realism contrasts with the imaginary.

Obtaining realism in Vue is fairly easy for whoever has a certain practice, as I do. I don't have to do much effort to obtain a realistic environment. Sometimes, it's even the other way around: if I want to obtain a non-realistic detail (such as the details you correctly pinpointed), I have to cheat a little bit. :)
