That seems to ring a very distant bell but I'm not sure... I read thousands of comics on my teens (and beyond ), mostly DC and Marvel but also some europeans (Bilal, Moebius, Segrelles and a few others).
Reading Margaret's stories about my images always makes me think that I made the images based on their stories and not vice-versa. It's a really strange feeling. She makes my images alive. Here are other stories about some of my other images:
This series is great. Allows the mind to follow several tangents, and I particularly like that you 'size' them with nearby comparisons (human[oid] with boat, baloon, ship). So far this red and the clouds stand out to me especially.
Thanks! I modeled the statues in Zbrush (from a Poser base model). I made the stars in Photoshop with various brushes and then imported it into Vue where I applied it to a plane (an alpha plane). The water, land, lighting and atmosphere were all configured in Vue, where I also rendered the image.
