This is a kind of prequel to my series "Days of Awe". It takes place before all other images in that series. Here's the link to the series and direct links to my favorite images of that series:

Lovely....I'm always torn between emotions of awe and profound jealousy when I see your pieces.....

Thanks! That must be something similar to what I feel when I see your wonderful alien plants. :)

I very much appreciate that.....what I need to work on is overall composition.....I also need to start creating human/animal characters to put into scenes.....but humans are difficult for so many reasons.....keep up the good work, my friend!

It's beautiful and interesting too - the start of her journey. I love the stones - reminds me of the artwork in the Dohrman Prophecy online book.

If I was the little girl, I would wonder why on earth anyone would cage such a beautiful tree. It is almost like the symbolic meaning of immortality being locked away from humanity. In the Ishaya mythology, there is a flowering tree that lives in a hidden valley in the Himalayas called Vashti. It is the tree of immortality.

Thank you for a rich comment. :)
There is one interesting point in your interpretation: you assume that the tree is being caged, instead of thinking that the tree is being protected from some outside menace. Of course, there's always two sides of the coin to any protection but it's interesting that you focused on the negative one, rather than on the positive one. :)
Intentionally, I didn't give any clues about my own interpretation, neither in my remarks nor in the title, because I wanted each person to interpret that structure in their own way.

Yes, interesting. I re-read my comment wondering what I had said that was perceived as negative. I did not feel any while writing it. The tree was in a cage, so I used the verb caged. It was actually a neutral comment. To be honest, I don't feel much difference between my comment that the tree was caged as opposed to being protected by an outside menace. But no matter. My original comment was based in the notion of great power being locked away from those who might not use it responsibly. One could also say, protected from those who may not use it responsibly. Both energetics feel the same to me. ;) But I appreciate your viewpoint.

I know you do not give descriptions in your art - but I actually like hearing the artist's intentions, as it enriches and broadens my perspective. No matter what is said, the viewer is always drawn to what resonates most in their heart. I find your art multi-dimensional and sometimes full of synchrony.
