Southern Light by ArthurBlue Southern Light by ArthurBlue
I tried to recreate the housing style and lighting conditions from southern Europe.
Made in SketchUp and Vue, rendered in Vue.

Amazing! But is there any AO in the scene? It would do wonders in my opinion.

Thanks! :-)
Vue does ambient occlusion automatically with the lighting model I used (global radiosity). It also simulates light bouncing.

Oh I see :) I guess I just prefer heavy AO globaly in 3D :P and in many passes :D but nevertheless, still exelent work!

Thanks! :)
There are various ways of importing a SketchUp object into Vue. The easiest is with SketchUp Pro, by exporting into OBJ format (or some other), which Vue can open. SketchUp free can also export Collada, which the most recent versions of Vue can also open.

great work!

its only a feeling, but for me, the bright wall lightning dont corresponds fully with the darker. its a physical "photorealistic" rendering, sure. but it is not true for real world.
dont know how to explain... perhaps its the orange whitebalance?
just my cents.. awesome work anyway!
