hi, you know me from "Kindredsoul" at renderoisty I went here for a short visit, and I love this probalby the best of all, I like how the grasses look so realistic and the mud looks so real and so fine detailed image with little twigs, leaves, just makes it like a real landscape photograph hats off to you.

Hi! Nice to see you here. :)
Thanks. I would change several things if I did this image today.
If you want to take a look at the images that I created after leaving rendo, here's a link to the folder in my gallery here with all new images, in reverse chronological order: [link]

The foreground is very very nice. I like the fallen leaves, mud and muddy water.

Yes! :) e-on used many of my images for their own marketing campaigns. For example, three of their product boxes have images of mine (Vue Frontier, Pioneer and Esprit). I don't make any money ouf ot it. :)

I remember you saying that the terrain texture in this scene had 25 layers, which still just blows me away! My computer would lay down and cry if I tried to do that, but it's just incredible!!

Thanks! Yes, 25 layers. Did you see my tutorial on this image? It's available in the Classroom of www.cornucopia3d.com. There I explain how I setup all those layers. :)
